St. Andrew's Church

Welcome to Penrith Parish (St Andrew's and Christ Church.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to our worship and to other events in the life of the church community.

Penrith is a growing market town sitting on the NE edge of the Lake District National Park, at the M6 J40 and on the West Coast mainline. Penrith and the Eden Valley is a great place to live and visit. It is an ideal base for holidays, close to 'the Lakes' but  without the very crowed tourist footfall familiar to visitors to the National Park.

St Andrew's and Christ Church is a worshipping, active Christian community, as part of Churches Together in Penrith. You will find a warm welcome at any of our local churches.

Please do get in touch if you would like any further details or additional information.

"The parish of Penrith is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Carlisle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
