About Us

A parish of well over 8 thousand inhabitants on the very edge of Chester Diocese and in the south of Warrington. The church built in 1861 stands to the south of the old village now a district of the greater town.

Next door is the “Schoolroom” which is the parish hall where the parish started. About half a mile away you can find St. Margaret’s Community Centre. This was once a chapel of ease to Christ Church and is situated in the middle of the housing estate which takes up half of the parish.
