Funerals

A funeral is used to mark the end of a person's life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God's keeping. This can be a small, quiet ceremony or a larger occasion.

Our church is almost always available for a funeral service, perhaps before going on to the Crematorium, and we will certainly do all we can to help and support a family through the pain of losing a loved one.

When making the initial arrangements for a funeral it is usually best to contact a local funeral director and they will liaise with the church and minister to try and meet your requirements.

Whether a churchyard burial is available depends on the parish and other factors and will need to be discussed on an individual basis.

Please do not hesitate to get in contact  if you feel we can be of help.
