About Us
St. Nicholas is mainly 13th-century, with a 14th-century tower and Victorian chancel. The exterior features notable gargoyles and, on the east wall, a stone carving of two green men. There is a ring of 6 bells which were re-hung in 2006.
In 2008 the Church was re-ordered which included the provision of an under-floor heating system, toilet and kitchen facilities, new lighting and a room in the Bell Tower and a purpose built screened area in the North Transept which is used by the local school during the week.
The Church is used as a concert venue.
Chadlington is part of the CHASE Benefice - a group of parishes serving the villages of Chadlington, Ascott-under-Wychwood, Spelsbury and Enstone, situated in North Oxfordshire on the edge of the Cotswolds in the Diocese of Oxford.

We worship in a liberal and broadly central church style. As well as offering services from Common Worship and the Book of Common Prayer, we offer Quiet Communions, informal all-age services, meditations, and more. We also join together in smaller groups for study, reflection and discussion, to nurture spiritual growth through every age and stage of life. Social activities are an important part of our life together, too.
